The Ongoing Cod Vs BF Debate

For gamers, there is no bigger argument at the moment than which is better – Call of Duty or Battlefield. You can tell how pointless this argument is already considering that most gamers are arguing over whether future iterations of the various series are better, not even a particular version of each game.

I don’t mind people discussing which is a better game – that’s part of the fun of having a hobby after all – but I hate it when people get defensive about a particular game. We should all just buy games based on the quality of that title, not on whether we were “fanboys” of previous games. And it shouldn’t matter which is better out of battlefield or COD, as we can just buy both games! It’s not like it has to be one or the other.

For me, I enjoy playing Battlefield more than Call of Duty. Maybe it’s because I prefer multiplayer and I think BF3 has a much better online experience, or maybe it’s just because I like larger maps and having more freedom. I still enjoy Call Of Duty though, although I definitely won’t be one of those people who waits up until midnight just to get it!

I’m planning on playing Battlefield 3 until the new expansion comes out then moving onto COD once I get bored of it. There are a load of other good games coming out soon though so it may take me a while to get onto it. It’ll be something to look forward to in the New Year though!

One game I’m definitely going to buy as Skyrim. I haven’t been looking forward to a game as much as that one for a long time, so hopefully it’ll live up to the hype (reviews should be coming out soon too).
